Ksheerabdhi Kanyakaku

**Verse 1**

Ksheerabdhi Kanyakaku Shree Mahalakshmikini

Neerajalayakunu Neerajanabha Priyakunu

Translation:

To the daughter of the ocean of milk, to Shree Mahalakshmi,

To the one who dwells in the lotus, to the beloved of Neerajanabha.

**Verse 2**

Kamalakucha kumbhastana kutila kuntala dhara

Kamalayata lochana Kamala sambhava amba

Translation:

O mother, born from the Lotus, with curly hair, slanting eyes, and bosom as round as the frontal globes of an elephant.

**Verse 3**

Kamalalaya mahodadhi viharakarunyamruta para

Karuna rasapoora tarangita charana yugala

Translation:

You who reside in the lotus and frolic in the great ocean, overflowing with the nectar of compassion, with feet rippling with waves of mercy.

**Verse 4**

Nikhila loka nayaka nirupama bhava dayaka

Sripati Priya bhamini bhavatu bhava dava shamini

Translation:

Unique Lord of all the world, giver of immortal bliss, beloved consort of the Lord of Lakshmi, be the extinguisher of the fire of worldly life.
